Small but on-point
Note that the official piece count of 569 has a lot of empty calories: there are 90 pieces of drive track (45 for each side) that have to be linked...read moreNote that the official piece count of 569 has a lot of empty calories: there are 90 pieces of drive track (45 for each side) that have to be linked together, and there are another 20 pieces of gray 1x2 studs that serve only as "rubble" that you can scoop up with the bucket. So that's almost 20% of the piece count right there.But that is my only reservation about this set. This set came out in 2021 and this is the type of set that I wish Lego would make more of in the Technic line: compact but full-featured (there are separate control knobs for arm height and bucket articulation, and it is very satisfying to coordinate the two knobs perfectly to scoop up items into the bucket. Plus the truck can swivel and roll on its tracks.)
