51" Wingspan FlightLine Focke-Wulf Ta 152H - PNP - FLW205P
FlightLine proudly presents the remarkable Ta-152H! Never before seen in foam electric format, FlightLine has once again delivered a rare warbird to expand its exciting line of premier affordable model aircraft.
Designed by Kurt Tank in 1944, the original Ta-152 was in many ways the ultimate version of Tank's famed FW-190 Wurger. One of the fastest piston engine aircraft of World War II, the sleek Ta-152H was optimized as a high altitude interceptor. Its stretched nose and fuselage, stretched wings, and iconic forward fuselage elements gave the Ta-152 a distinctive appearance that also showed Tank's inventiveness even as the war drew to a close.
FlightLine's 1310mm wingspan Ta-152H depicts the stark beauty of this deadly machine in 1/11 scale with the convenience of electric power. This model has quickly become one of our favorites at the flying field! Prepare to be amazed by the Ta-152's wide flight envelope, from vertical climbs to tall loops, from high speed passes at 80+mph to slow soaring like a glider. Carbon reinforcements strengthen the aircraft to withstand the rigors of sport RC flight. Screws assemble the model in minutes, and make wing removal fast for convenient transport.
As with all FlightLine model aircraft, the Ta-152H features many scale details to bring your model to life including an accurate outline, plastic cowl and intake, cannon, exhaust stacks, correct canopy shape and forward fuselage contours, and gear doors. Split flaps, large wheels, and a wide stance on metal trunion retractable main landing gear make landings predictable and stable. This is easily one of our best handling aircraft on grass under the 1350mm class size. A beautiful base paint job with 18 included tail number decals gives you multiple options to stand out at your flying field!
To further expand its versatility, our Ta-152H is the first aircraft from FlightLine specifically designed to accommodate a 3s or 4s battery. Fly at scale speeds with as small as a 3s 2200mAh battery, or enjoy spirited flying with the recommended 4s 2500 battery. We flight tested 3s 1800 batteries up to 4s 3300. On the recommended Admiral 4s 2500mAh battery, we fly a comfortable 5-7 minutes of mixed throttle sport flying on the stock PNP's three bladed scale power system with nearly unlimited vertical climbing power. The optional High Speed two blade power system requires the recommended 4s 2500 battery to achieve 90mph speeds.
Own a rare piece of aviation history by adding this Ta-152H to your fleet today!

Product Updates:
- September 11, 2018 - The FlightLine 1300mm TA-152 recommends a 4S 3000 mAh LiPo battery, but a 3S 4000 mAh of equivalent weight and similar dimension can be used.
- March 9, 2017 - Do not use the high performance 2-blade propeller (P112080) with the stock motor. You must use the 2-blade propeller with the upgraded motor (MO136484) only.

With that being said, it was also one of the most enjoyable because of the ever present challenges. This is a true scale warbird as far as the flight characteristics are concerned. It assembled very well and looks great right out of the box. Be very careful setting this one up as it is very sensitive to control inputs. I would definitely recommend playing around with the rates and expo before putting it in the air. I dialed mine way down and used 20 percent expo on low rates. That was a good starting point for me but everyone is different. Takeoffs need to be gradual and rudder input is needed to keep it straight. If you try yanking it off the ground to early, it will almost definitely stall. It flies very stable at the proper airspeed but you have to stay on it and do not fly it to slow. I setup the approach at about 40 percent power and gradually decreased but kept a good amount of power in before landing. It nosed over on the first try but I did considerably better the second time around. Another great product from Motion RC but an aircraft that really needs to be respected or it will go in the ground fast. Not a beginner airplane by any stretch of the imagination but a great challenge for those looking for it!

I know they promote the products, but are also first to admit that they crashed a plane, and give great tips on how to best fly. It's like having a friend at the field with you. No gimmicks, great prices and honest reviews. I will buy this plane soon, after James's admission that he bought this after starting at Motion RC and he was excited about it, crashed it but kept on going. That's the real world.

If you play War Thunder, then you know this is the Nissan Skyline of the WWII fighter world, simply bada*s in every way and highly coveted. The inestimable Prof. Kurt Tank's ultimate fighter design. I think Freewing nailed the look, and the build quality is all around excellent. I did have to do the typical strengthening required of these foam kits today, namely the wing servos had to be reglued (I use non-silicone caulk), but once verified safe-for-flight, Day 1 at the field was a great success. It helps to mix throttle/rudder, and you only increase power as necessary to smoothly takeoff - never stuff it to military setting on the roll. Just like the real bird! I find it flies like a pattern plane, laser straight, very fast and highly predictable. And it likes slightly more landing speed than that long aspect ratio wing suggests, even with a correct c.g. adjustment. Hold that tail down through the roll out as well. Oh and did I mention, this is the incredible Ta-152H??? It's like showing up to a weekend car show filled with Camaros and Mustangs with an ultra-rare Porsche 959. The plane simply exudes lethality and exclusivity. Although, maddeningly these WWII German planes never come with the "correct" marking on the vertical fin, who knows why. Easy enough to add though. So hurry and add this highly desirable kit to your stable, we are lucky Freewing offers the design! Now if we can just get them to build a 90mm YF-23 . . . hmmmmm.
