Our ideal Customer Service Manager is a skilled communicator who energetically leads improvements at all levels of our customer service apparatus; works day to day with our Support Teams, formulates optimal procedures with data-driven assessments, and coordinates with Management to implement these initiatives. Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Motion RC Global Customer Support Department
    • Monitor Support Ticket System for response time, accuracy, completeness, and tone
    • Monitor Phone system to ensure appropriate load distribution across Team
    • Monitor Chat system usage, read transcripts, and assess user feedback
    • Monitor Warranty and Returns system to ensure accuracy and prevent abuse
    • Update Internal systems to optimize response time and cross-platform efficiency
    • Coordinate team member schedules across primary time zones to maximize availability during peak times
    • Enforce procedural compliance with company policies
    • Host regular phone calls with Customer Service Team to discuss goals, processes, issue tracking, etc.
    • Resolve all open issues from beginning to end
    • Maximize compliance by tracking all assigned tasks within Motion RC's project management software
    • Provide objective and meaningful annual performance reviews to Customer Service Team members
  • Lead by example to achieve all aspects of procedure adherence and service excellence
    • Manage all senior-level escalated service tickets and designate solutions to team members
    • Seek opportunities to resolve conflicts and to win customers
    • Develop tools and implement training to improve Customer Service Team’s effectiveness
    • Organize customer feedback and coordinate necessary improvements with relevant departments
    • Supervise training of Customer Service Team on new policies, procedures, and products
    • Identify opportunities to enhance Team member satisfaction and individual development
  • Proactively research and recommend valuable service opportunities to Management
    • Aggressively preempt budgetary waste and departmental inefficiencies
    • Hold accountable inefficient use of company resources
    • Moderate rating agency (BBB, Trust Pilot, etc.) communication and oversee public-facing service-related initiatives
    • Participate in regular discussions with Management, encompassing performance, strategy, etc.

Marketing Specialist

Hours: Full-Time
Location: Belgium, Germany, or The Netherlands

Overview 

Motion RC is one of the largest distributors of Radio Control (RC) models offering over 10,000 products from the RC industry's top manufacturers. Motion RC sells radio controlled airplanes, boats, cars, trucks, helicopters, and other RC accessories through its online store www.motionrc.eu. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated marketing and media specialist to join our organization based in Central Europe. The Europe marketing team is responsible for the creation and dissemination of all traditional and digital marketing material for Motion RC's European business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • RC Event management
    • Create and execute an Event Calendar comprised of meaningful RC events throughout Europe. RC Events may include but are not limited to local club events, sponsorships, special appearances, regional or international multi-day flying events, exhibitions, and conferences.
    • Coordinate directly with Management in assessing strategy, synchronizing related marketing initiatives, obtaining budget approvals, evaluating achievements and charting improvements
  • Media Creation
    • Help prepare and film our in-house product video shoots, both in-studio and on location
    • Capture media at various aviation events around the country and help setup and support show booths
    • Edit videos for our YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram channels
    • Manage our social media channels and help proliferate content on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
  • Help identify areas of opportunity in our overall marketing programs and platforms
  • Monitor and participate in RC related forums to assist customers and help promote the RC hobby

Skills and Qualifications

  • Manage all aspects of new product development projects within the Surface Category, including
    • In coordination with Management, formulate an expansion plan for the Surface Category
    • Researching and compiling competitive analyses and presenting to Management

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Quickly and accurately pick products from bins and shelves to fulfill computerized customer orders
    • Ensure customer order matches picked products
    • Visually inspect products for damage before packing
    • Pack products carefully to protect against shipping damage
    • Utilize computer-based shipping software to weigh packages, select the lowest shipping rate, and generate shipping labels
    • Unload shipping containers from overseas suppliers
    • Replenish inventory as needed
    • Assist receiving department in product check-in and inventory tasks during peak periods
    • Work with team members to optimize warehouse operations and processes - continuous improvement
