I hag an eFlite Outrunner Power 46 running with a 60amp Smart ESC using a 5000 mAh 4S 45C 14.4 battery. This appears to be plenty of power for this airplane. I was having to work as the torque from the takeoff is high causing alot of heavy rudder. I found it actually takes off better from the grass then the hard runway. The canopy is alot of plastic windows which do not hold up well if ground looped or crashed. The parts are reasonable, but difficult to rebuild from extra plywood and spruce. Also the plane flies true and straight and does not need flaps if proper flight planning us used during the landings, just come off the throttle on final, and allow the plane to sink to the ground, then flare with a small bit of power and that's it. It is a great kit at a reasonable cost, just watch that rudder on slow takeoffs
