With no wing in place the trust was of 1080grs. for 55A with SLS 4S 2600mAh...read moreHello, I put this unit in the Viperjet kit, after some work inside the fuselage. With no wing in place the trust was of 1080grs. for 55A with SLS 4S 2600mAh and Hobbywing 80A ESC. With the wing in place the trust was so way down that I opened a big air intaker under the wing (120x45mm). Then I got 1040grs. of trust, still 55A on the ground. The weight of the model is 1100grs. with the battery and I must say it flies so well with a lot of trust in the air, and really fabulous "Jet noise". For the launch I mixed 2mm up on the elevator with the power full. After it’s not necessary for normal fly. I get 5mn of flying, with mixed using of the power, with some amazing king size of loops and great high speed passings near the ground. The reason of the 4 stars is that a trust of 1500grs. is annouced on Freewing website, may be in optimals conditions I havn’t. Otherwise the price is really attractive and the EDF unit perfect for my Viperjet thank’s to MotionRC for quick package and sent! Have nice flying with your jets too! Thierry

                    5s cracking performance

                    Bought this edf and done a few projects with it. Currently in a 70mm Yak and runs on 5s. Has more power than the stock 70mm 6s version.

Lucky me ,wearing a strong harness, not a scratch, and I returned to my unit in the Philippines. Talk about a scary experience, To be honest I am still recovering from an accident, last year, so flying has been out of the question, but this HELICOPTER, is something very special to me. IT is really special, in detail, also has room upfront for a pilot 1/6, and a 1/6 copilot, meticulous realism, GET YOURSELF ONE, YOU WONT BE SORRY, it's a beauty. If you love Huey's like I do.........

It is somewhat heavy but it flies very light and agile....read moreThe Eurofighter 90mm 6S is my fourth Freewing EDF Jet from Motion RC; first delta wing jet and it has become my favorite! It is somewhat heavy but it flies very light and agile. Takes-off like a champ. Lands well very well but do keep the nose up as this jet wants a higher angle of attack on approach than more conventional designs and work the throttle to control rate of descent/sink do not try to float this in. Battery Bay is the biggest flaw; poorly designed. No space to move a larger battery back and get a good neutral CG. I am currently running stock setup per the manual SMC 4900 HV packs to keep the weight down and lessen nose heaviness. Balances about 15-20mm behind the factory CG mark and Im getting 3 to 3:30ish flight time depending on wind conditions with mixed throttle flight. Love the presence and profile of this jet iin the air; especially with ordnance on; looks muscular and very impressive on slow and fast low passes down the runway. And it sounds amazing as well! Another minor issue was the vertical stabilizer came with a large rip that looked big and **** but did not affect the integrity of the control surface. Normally if I find a small blemish in the foam I ignore it but this one was too big to disregard. To Motion RCs credit I contacted them about this and they sent a new one out right away and I had it in 3 days. Fantastic customer service!! Overall great experience and if you have any interest in this jet at all just get it…if it is in stock…it is a popular one for reasons that I now understand for myself!

The other small surprise is that if you plan to use suggested control rates, be prepared to move linkages at servo and horn. Tires are hard, but this may be needed due to the weight of this airplane.
